Description of the organization's activities: | The Ontario Pharmacists' Association (OPA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven, voluntary professional association for pharmacists and pharmacists-in-training in all sectors of medication management.OPA's business activities include provision of quality education programs for pharmacists, developing patient programs for safe medication use, effective stakeholder program for various health providers, lobbyig on behalf of pharmacists, stakeholders and other health providers, provision of drug information and research services for government agencies and pharmaceutical companies, developing strategic alliances with other health care providers. |

Subject Matter: Retrospective: | OPA is involved in direct contact with Non-Insured-Health Benefits (NIHB), Health Canada and Treasury Board.The purpose of our discussions is on matters pertaining to NIHB audits, possible assistance from our pharmacists to NIHB, discussions with Health Canada on ADR and pricing of drugs and Treasury Board on cross-border drug reimportation. | ||||||||||
