Description of the organization's activities: The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is a national, volunteer federation of provincial and regional RVDA associations which exists to protect and promote the interests and welfare of RV Dealers across Canada in order to enable the industry to maximize its potential.

Subject Matter: Retrospective: RV SignageThe RVDA of Canada continues work on the campaign to convince provincial transportation officials of the benefits of a nationwide RV repair signage program. Strategically, the RVDA has identified the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) as the national organization responsible for coordinating provincial signage issues. The RVDA of Canada made a formal submission and advocacy campaign aimed at convincing this body to support RVDA's signage request before a special committee meeting in September.
Subject Matter: Prospective: RVDA's 2008 lobby day in Ottawa in combination with the association's meetings in Ottawa on April 14 - 16th.For RVDA, the objective is to raise the dealers' profile with the government and to ensure that RV dealers are understood to be a key player in the Canadian economy.
