Description of the organization's activities: THE ONTARIO CORN PRODUCERS' ASSOCIATION (OCPA) SPEAKS ON BEHALF OF THE GRAIN CORN PRODUCERS OF ONTARIO. AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OVERSEES THE THREE POLICY COMMITTEES WHERE POLICY POSITIONS AND ACTIVITIES ARE DEVELOPED AND THEN IMPLEMENTED BY ACTION TEAMS. OCPA WORKS CO-OPERATIVELY WITH OTHER AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS TO ACHIEVE RESULTS IN THE AREAS OF FARM INCOME, SAFETY NETS, RESEAR5CH, MARKET DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC AWARENESS.
Organization's membership or classes of membership: APPROXIMATELY 21,000 GRAIN CORN PRODUCERS ACROSS ONTARIO ARE REPRESENTED BY THE ONTARIO CORN PRODUCERS' ASSOCIATION. SIXTEEN DIRECTORS ARE ELECTED FROM THE REGIONS OF ONTARIO.
