Assiniboine Park is the largest urban park in Manitoba, housing several major attractions. All aspects of the Park require significant capital for new projects, refurbishing and maintenance. Assiniboine Park Conservancy is developing plans to redevelop the zoo, a conservatory, playground and water park area, along with some new development concepts. This will require infrastructure, conservation and environmental funding elements. Specific sources of funding not yet known.
