- On October 17, 2017 we joined with Imagine Canada to discuss with MPs and Senators about: The advisory panel on political activity by charities provides an opportunity to strengthen partnerships between charities and the federal government; we need a legal framework and administrative policies that doesn't limit charities and nonprofits from fully contributing to their communities; support of the Senate motion to strike a special committee to undertake a study of the charitable and nonprofit sector
Policies or Program
- December 2017 - February 2018 we have been in discussions with MPs, Minister Patty Hajdu, on the Canada Summer Jobs Program and the need to accommodate the religious community's opposition to the attestation requirement. We have also written blogs, op-ed pieces, emails to MPs on this issue.

Description of the organization's activities
CCCC is a member-based association of Canadian registered charities providing specialized support for charity compliance and leadership functions. CCCC offers members a website including downloadable sample policies, documents and the T3010, access to CCCC staff for answers to technical questions, the CCCC Bulletin published five times annually, the Charities Handbook which is updated alternate years, recorded webinars for staff training purposes, annual regional seminars and the CCCC Annual Leadership and Stewardship Conference.

Organization's membership or classes of membership
1. Affiliate Membership for any registered charity wishing to access CCCC resources and expertise.
2. Web Membership for small registered charities with total revenues less than $30,000.
3. Professional Associate Membership for professionals, such as lawyers and accountants, with registered charities as clients.
4. Certified Membership for Christian Charities who have earned and maintained the right to display the CCCC Seal of Accountability.
