Legislation to Amend the Copyright Act with respect to requesting that any proposed Copyright bill be balanced and responsive to the needs and demands of consumers, and promote innovation and the ability to maximize the use of new technologies and to urge the continuation of Canada's position at international meetings concerning a possible WIPO Broadcast Rights Treaty to ensure that (i) Canada retains flexibility to maintain features of its domestic law that would require "exceptions" to any new WIPO Treaty, and (ii) that other international treaties (e.g. Anti-counterfeiting Trade Agreement) do not introduce de facto copyright obligations that are inconsistent with Canadian copyright law.
Radiocommunication Act, amendments to strengthen enforcement of illegal satellite theft

Foreign Ownership restrictions in telecommunications and satellites - further to the commitment made in the Speech from the Throne and Budget 2010 on liberalization of limits, we would like to ensure that the same rules be applied equally to Broadcasting Distribution Undertakings.
Spectrum Auction for 700 MHz and 2500 MHz - ensure that the Government reserves a portion of spectrum for new entrants either a set aside or a cap.
