The provisions of interest to the client are: the expanded fair dealing provision (section 29); the expanded and new educational exceptions (sections 29.4, 29.5, 29.6, 30.01, 30.02 and 30.04); the exception for user generated content (section 29.21); the expanded exception for inter-library loans (section 30.2); the provisions regarding ephemeral recordings (section 30.9(6)); and the provisions relating to internet service provider liability (sections 41.25 and 41.26).
