Legislative Proposal, Bill or Resolution
- An Act to amend the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act and other acts in consequence. The NWT & Nunavut Chamber of Mines will be discussing with AANDC the proposed amendments to the draft legislative proposal in relation to the responsible development of the mineral resources of the NWT, consistent with the provisions of the underlying land claims agreements.
- An Act to amend the Northwest Territories Waters Act. The proposed amendments to this Act are closely related to the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act and will therefore be the subject of discussions with AANDC in the context of the proposed amendments to that Act.
- An Act to amend the Territorial Lands Act. The NWT & Nunavut Chamber of Mines will be discussing with AANDC the proposed amendments to this legislation in context of the proposed amendments to the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act.
