- Dans un contexte de réponse aux enjeux climatiques, représentations auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques visant à soutenir des projets innovants et collaboratifs liés à la transition écologique des entreprises de la région métropolitains.
- Représentations auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques pour proposer un programme de commerce intérieur ou interprovincial. Ce programme pourrait s'articuler via une étude et des missions commerciales à l'intérieur du Canada. Il pourrait être opéré par différents organismes locaux ayant la capacité de le déployer.

- Représentations auprès de titulaires de charges publiques sur les enjeux liés à la langue française, notamment dans le cadre du projet de loi C-13. La CCMM demande notamment une meilleure protection du français face à l’asymétrie des situations linguistiques au Canada, l’adoption rapide d’un projet de loi et d’un plan d’action prévoyant des mesures concrètes afin de préserver la paix linguistique et protéger le français, et la coordination renforcée entre les gouvernements fédéral et provincial afin d’éviter un alourdissement du fardeau administratif.
Policies or Program
- La Chambre a déposé un mémoire avec ses recommandations dans le cadre du Programme des travailleurs étrangers temporaires (PTET) - la Chambre recommande au gouvernement de: 1. Faciliter l’accès aux travailleurs temporaires étrangers spécialisés et stratégiques pour nos secteurs porteurs 2. Accorder plus de flexibilité dans l’embauche en main-d’œuvre étrangère temporaire peu spécialisée et saisonnière 3. Alléger le processus et les délais de traitement des demandes des travailleurs étrangers temporaires. 4. Mettre en place des mécanismes pour favoriser la rétention des travailleurs étrangers temporaires.
- Représentation auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques afin de souligner et promouvoir l'importance des investissements publics dans le domaine des transports, en particulier des transports en commun, pour la région métropolitaine de Montréal.
- Représentation auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques afin de souligner l'importance de considérer Montréal comme siège pour y établir des institutions liées aux finances, aux infrastructures et à l'investissement étranger.
- Représentation auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques visant à souligner l'importance de définir une vision et une stratégie fédérale pour soutenir la vitalité des centres-villes partout au pays, notamment en réponse aux conséquences de la pandémie.
- Représentation auprès de la Ministre de la Petite Entreprise et de la Promotion des exportations dirigé par l'Honorable Mary Ng et du Ministre des Affaires intergouvernementales et du Nord et du Commerce intérieur, l'Honorable Dominic LeBlanc, pour la mise en place de programme de soutien aux PME à l'exportation - Trade Accelerator Program.
- Représentations auprès de différents titulaires de charges publiques afin de souligner l’importance d’élaborer et de mettre en place une stratégie urbaine nationale favorisant la planification et le financement à long terme des infrastructures afin de répondre à la croissance des centres urbains canadiens.
- Représentations auprès de titulaires de charges publiques sur les enjeux de pénurie de main d'œuvre des entreprises, notamment dans le cadre des consultations prébudgétaires du gouvernement du Canada. La Chambre recommande entre autres d'allouer les ressources nécessaires pour améliorer les processus d'immigration.
- Représentations auprès de titulaires de charges publiques sur les enjeux liés aux investissements dans les infrastructures stratégiques, notamment dans le cadre des consultations prébudgétaires du gouvernement du Canada. La Chambre recommande notamment de soutenir les projets d'infrastructures structurants pour l'économie du Grand Montréal et du Canada, comme le projet du Nouveau-Vic et le Port de Montréal.
- Représentations auprès de titulaires de charges publiques sur les enjeux liés à l'efficacité des services gouvernementaux, notamment dans le cadre des consultations prébudgétaires du gouvernement du Canada, que ce soit les services de passeports, les processus d'immigration, ou tout autre services aux particuliers et aux entreprises.
- Représentations de la Chambre de commerce du Montréal métropolitain dans le cadre des consultations prébudgétaires du gouvernement du Canada. La Chambre recommande entre autres sur le plan fiscal de bien doser les dépenses de l’État en période de lutte contre l’inflation et de jeter les bases d’un prochain partenariat financier avec les villes pour réduire la pression sur le fardeau fiscal municipal, notamment en ce qui a trait aux infrastructures municipales.
