Description of activities
Airbus Helicopters Canada manufactures, markets, sells, assembles, supports and provides training solutions for Airbus rotary-wing aircraft in Canada. Since beginning operations in 1984, it has become a leading provider of helicopters for the Canadian utility, law enforcement, emergency medical service, and executive markets. The company’s head office and manufacturing facility is in Fort Erie, Ontario with Customer Support Centers located in Richmond, British Columbia and Mirabel, Quebec. Today, Airbus Helicopters Canada supports over 190 operators who collectively operate more than 700 helicopters in Canada.
Airbus Helicopters is a division of Airbus, a global aerospace and defence leader. Airbus employs more than 2,000 people in Canada and sources over $1 billion direct from Canadian aerospace companies.
