Description of the organization's activities
Toronto's MaRS Discovery District is one of the world's largest urban innovation hubs, cultivating high-impact ventures and equipping innovators to drive economic and social prosperity in Canada. As a home to entrepreneurs and a bridge to the business world, MaRS helps companies bring breakthrough ideas to market and scale globally. MaRS supports entrepreneurs with breakthrough innovations in important theme areas such as health, energy & environment, finance & commerce, and work & learning – providing them with critical skills and connections to grow and scale their businesses globally. MaRS also works with private and public sector partners to foster innovation demand by creating solutions to increase adoption of new technologies and generate social impact.
