• Consultation with government officials regarding funding projects for biofuel production, or promoting the availability of biofuels, including: Advocating for increasing inclusion rates for renewable diesel and ethanol; Advocating for policy measures that maximize the economic value of renewable fuel products by monetizing reduced carbon emissions; Efforts to develop reforms to Sustainable Development Technology; Eligibility Criteria for the Advanced Manufacturing Fund, Sustainable Development Technology Canada's (SDTC) Sustainable Development (SD) Tech Fund and NextGen Biofuels Fund; Information pertaining to the impact of tariffs as well as tax credit and countervail duties on the use of renewable fuels and renewable fuel feedstocks in relation to U.S. country-of-origin-labeling standards; and Policy platform for emerging technologies that exempts ethanol from fuel taxes.

• Consultation with government officials regarding regulations associated with biofuels and the energy sector; vehicle emission regulations for fuel economy effective 2017.
