• Telecommunications Infrastructure. I will discuss with CRTC staff & Commissioners and staff at Innovation, Science and Economic Development potential funding available for telecommunications infrastructure.

Grant, Contribution or Other Financial Benefit, Regulation

• Telecommunications regulation. I will be communicating with CRTC staff & Commissioners to discuss telecommunications services affecting primarily remote & rural areas especially the Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. Among other things, I expect to discuss the possibility of applying for CRTC funding for the construction of broadband infrastructure. Funding would come from the CRTC's recently announced broadband funding program. The criteria for the Commission's funding program have yet to be determined.
