- South Island Prosperity Project is a finalist in the Infrastructure Canada Smart Cities Challenge. Through the Smart Cities challenge, the Government of Canada will provide financial and in-kind support to the municipalities in Greater Victoria.

South Island Prosperity Partnership (SIPP) is the economic development alliance for Greater Victoria (South Island region of BC). SIPP works with companies that want to grow in, or relocate to, the region and has mandate for First Nations economic development and other specialized project work.
