- Bill S-228: Marketing to Kids Legislation. Our goal is to ensure that the legislative provisions such as age don't negatively impact the convenience channel.
- Bill S-5: An Act to Amend the Tobacco Act and the Non-Smokers Health Act with respect to recommendations around implementation time, allocating more resources for contraband and allowing for a visual identifier on packages and on cartons.
- Contraband Tobacco: Ongoing advocacy with officials from Finance, Border Control and Public Safety to point out impacts of contraband on the convenience channel.

- Credit Card Fees: ongoing advocacy with MP's, Ministry of Finance, Industry, and Small Business regarding the impact of high credit card fees on our channel.
- Grey Market Confectionery: Communication with Health, Agri-Food, Industry, Small Business and CBSA on the problems with grey market confectionery goods coming into Canada illegally and the need to crack down on this.
- Small Business Taxation: Communication with MP's, Ministry of Finance, Industry, Small Business and PMO about the impacts of proposed changes to taxation of small businesses on the convenience channel.
