Economic development: seeking funding to increase awareness of the Trail being an economic driver for Canada.
Environment: continue to see conservation for land on the Trail and to seek funding to continue to build new trail.
Infrastructure: seek funds from the Build Canada Fund in order to build capacity on the Trail. That could include increasing tourism capacity (way finding signs, community signs etc), capital (washrooms, portaging infrastructure) and actual trail building.
To create a four year funding plan instead of a five year plan via Budget 2017. The purpose of this funding is enhance the Trans Canada Trail.
Tourism: Seeking dollars and increasing awareness of the Trail regarding tourism.
