The Broadcasting Accessibility Fund (the Fund) was established through Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2012-430. With an initial capitalization of $5.7M, the Fund is mandated to advance accessibility to broadcasting content for Canadians with disabilities. It is an independent and impartial not for profit organization with a 9-member Board of Directors, the majority of whom represent the Canadian accessibility/disability sector.
