- Clean Fuel Standard - The proposed regulations will require reduction of the carbon intensity of all fuels consumed in Canada. Hydrogen production and carbon capture can materially contribute to achieving the desired reductions.

- Output Based Pricing System - The regulations being developed under the Carbon Pricing System are intended to limit greenhouse gas emissions from industrial facilities, specifically, the through the output Based Standards. The lobbying activity is intended to ensure the regulations treat all hydrogen producers in a consistent manner, regardless of technology, feedstock, ownership or sector within which it is produced.
