• Federal Budget submission on supporting sustained, long term operational funding to women's and gender equality organizations working at the national level on advocacy, research, education, policy analysis, and legal reform. Budget submission - Invest in Gender Equity through the Canadian Women’s Foundation, National Action Plan to Address Violence against Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA people, National Action Plan (NAP) on Violence Against Women and Girls/Gender-Based Violence, Address Ongoing Legacies of Residential Schools, Fully Implement Bill S-3, Transform Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC), Foster a Healthy Care Economy
• Inclusion of a roundtable with feminist and First Nations, Inuit and Metis women’s organizations and leaders to provide some key policy recommendations to the government in the federal budget consultation process.

Policies or Program

• Advice with regard to the commitment to resettling 40,000 Afghan refugees in Canada, and strengthening coordination and evacuation of Afghans at risk, particularly women, including strong GBA Plus, adequate funding and centering the voices of Canadian Afghan women and Afghan women leaders in Canada’s response and humanitarian assistance.
• Appearance on a public panel to discuss, provide information and answer questions on progress on development and implementation of the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence
• Encouraged federal government to ensure that judges were trained regularly on the subject of sexual assault
• Encouraged federal government to take steps to end violence against women, to build economic prosperity for women, to promote diverse leadership, and to take part in a federal debate on women's issues with other parties.
