- Accessible Canada Act – contribute to discussions surrounding the ACA’s objective of creating a barrier-free country by 2040.

- Advocate for federal expansion of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A or B to include developmental service workers (NOC 4212), which are currently not under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exemption codes.
- Advocate for increased and continued representation of disability sector supports in annual budget. Seek additional funding for Disability Benefits, Disability Tax Credit, Enabling Accessibility Fund.
- Advocate for the inclusion of the developmental services sector when making plans and decisions related to future emergency responses, especially as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Canada Disability Benefit – consult with government officials to develop concrete actions to help reduce poverty & create opportunities for meaningful employment for people with intellectual disabilities.
- Early Learning & Childcare Plan – increased supports for families with a child with special needs, inclusion in the financial commitment for accessible spaces.
- Expand the discussion about supports for people within the developmental services sector to include dual diagnoses and the intersection with mental health.
- National Housing Strategy - Engage with the federal government to explore opportunities to address the growing supportive housing needs for individuals living with developmental disabilities across Ontario including additional pressures amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Description of the organization's activities
Community Living Toronto has been a source of support for people with an intellectual disability and their families since 1948. They offer a wide range of services including respite, person-directed planning, employment supports, residential programs, and community-based activities. They are proud to support over 4,000 individuals and their families in 80+ locations across Toronto.

Membership in the Organization: Two Classes - The Association is authorized to establish one Voting Class of members and one Non-Voting Class of members as follows:
a) The Voting Class of members shall be entitled to receive notice of and to attend all meetings of the members of the Association and each Voting Class Member shall have one (1) vote in person or proxy at each such meeting, except for meetings at which only members of another class are entitled to vote separately as a class.
b) Except as otherwise provided by the Act, the Non-Voting Members shall be entitled to receive notice of, and to attend meetings of the members of the Association, but shall not be entitled to vote at such meetings.
