Navitas Canada Holding Inc. (doing business as Navitas Canada) is a part of the Navitas group of companies, a global education provider, and Fraser International College Ltd. Navitas Canada offers first-year university pathway programs to more than 4000 international students, providing wraparound services to support their successful adjustment to life and learning in Canada, at the following public post-secondary institutions: - Fraser International College (in partnership with Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC); - University of Lethbridge International College Calgary (in partnership with the University of Lethbridge in Calgary, AB) - International College of Manitoba (in partnership with the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB); - Toronto Metropolitan University International College (in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, ON); - Wilfrid Laurier International College (in partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford, ON); It is also developing new partnerships with other post-secondary institutions across Canada. Navitas Canada is engaging federal officials to: - Align with the Government of Canada’s commitment to increase immigration by highlighting Navitas’ demonstrated track record of attracting and retaining international students. - Advocate to reduce wait times for student visas and study permits. - Assure timely review and approvals of Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) agreements with provinces, especially for new university partners. - Position Navitas as a key partner with Global Affairs Canada (ie. EduCanada) for marketing Canada as a destination for international students, as well as resource for international education data and analysis. - Build regional and community support for new and existing university partnerships through public office holders, including Cabinet ministers and MPs.
