We call for the improvement of human security in North Korea to become a policy objective, not only a tactical consideration, in advancing traditional security interests in the Korean Peninsula. We believe a holistic, resilient, and responsive human security strategy should be pursued and prioritized in parallel to short-term traditional security strategies.

HanVoice engages in human rights education by providing training to Canadian students using the Korean Peninsula as a case study. We connect students with human rights projects abroad. Additionally, we engage in refugee settlement working with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada, facilitating the process of bringing five North Korean families in transit to Canada within two years.
