Performing Arts Tax Credit. Engaging the Government of Canada to catalyze the live performing arts industry in Canada by implementing a tax credit program, similar to the one already in place for the film & television sector. The tax credit would provide a reimbursement of a percentage of targeted labour expenditures effectively lowering operating costs for organizations, regardless of whether their business model is a for-profit or not-for-profit entity.
