L'Arche Sudbury proposes to construct a 4.5-acre affordable housing apartment complex for people with and without intellectual disabilities. The complex will also have administration and training units, and gathering space for the community. This model is unique in Sudbury and will fill a gap in living options available to persons with developmental challenges and their families and caregivers. L'Arche has already received funding commitments from the federal government and the City of Greater Sudbury and is currently pursuing financial support from the federal government.
