Ecopia is a Canadian-owned private technology company that leverages artificial intelligence to mine geospatial imagery to generate highly accurate map data at scale. Ecopia works with all levels of government on geospatial solutions and participates actively in grant programs (IRAP, SDTC, IDEaS, etc).
As such, Ecopia will focus lobbying activities around networking and building relationships with key stakeholders to better understand the problem areas to help tailor our data solutions. In addition to this, Ecopia will conduct educational campaigns by coordinating information sessions, webinars, and presentations to raise awareness about our solutions and the potential impact.

Ecopia creates high-resolution vector maps from geospatial imagery using artificial intelligence techniques. Ecopia has already completed two-dimensional maps of the entire continent of Australia (7M km2), the contiguous United States (8M km2), and sub-Saharan Africa (24M km2). Ecopia’s vector maps contain detailed object classifications not readily available in other mapping products. Users can query Ecopia’s mapping data to identify specific conditions of interest, enabling faster decision-making.
