- Dairy processing capacity program - government must unveil details about the new $300 million program to increase domestic processing capacity and support innovation/investment into large-scale projects to add value to solids-non-fat.
- Ensuring CFIA and CBSA have the resources and training programs they need to adequately enforce dairy regulations and production standards. Canada does not have commodity-specific training programs for border services and/or CFIA agents to properly test dairy products at the border and ensure all imported dairy products meet Canadian quality standards and food safety requirements.
- Trade - the government must uphold Canada's sovereign right to determine its own domestic policies as well as not grant any additional access to the domestic dairy market in any trade agreement.

- Canada's Standards of Identity regulations for Dairy Products, with respect to clear requirements for what constitutes products such as milk, cheese, and butter.
- Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act in regards to Canada's commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 (Dairy Farmers of Canada has a Net Zero by 2050 program).
