Climate - Asking the federal government to implement production incentives to enable the development of the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) market in Canada by supporting the building of SAF plants in Canada.
Transportation - Work with the government to develop a national strategy for decarbonizing aviation via the use of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). What kind of policies and regulations are needed to sustain and create a new market for SAF in Canada and to keep the aviation and aerospace sectors competitive in a net-zero future

Description des activités de l'organisation

C-SAF is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation. The purpose of the Corporation is: (1) to promote the development of sound public policy, value chain opportunities, reliable, and affordable supply with respect to sustainable aviation fuels in, to and from Canada; (2) to act as a technical expert with respect to public advocacy planning; and (3) to serve as a voice of its members when engaging or otherwise dealing with government and non- government stakeholders on any matter related to sustainable aviation fuels, including all public policy, legislative, safety and regulatory issues that impact the members.

The corporation is authorized to establish two classes of membership: voting members and non-voting members. (1) The voting members shall be entitled to receive notice of and to attend all meetings of the members of the Corporation and each voting member shall have one (1) vote at each such meeting, except for meetings at which only members of another class are entitled to vote separately as a class. (2) Except as otherwise provided by the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, S.C. 2009, c.23 the non- voting members shall not be entitled to receive notice of, attend or vote at meetings of the members of the Corporation.
