Seeking a new 5 year renewal mandate for the IAMC-TMX. In particular a strengthened mandate for marine shipping, safety and aquatic environment as well as emergency management and safety. To continue with Indigenous monitoring in the terrestrial space, and to continue engage the 129 Indigenous communities as it relates to Socio-Economic impacts. Supporting the advancement of the APM's stemming from UNDA.

The IAMC-TMX is looking to gain a better understanding of the government's Industrial Technological Benefits program, and how their organization could qualify.

The Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC) brings together 13 Indigenous and six senior federal representatives to provide advice to regulators, as well as to monitor the Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) Project and the existing pipeline. The 13 Indigenous members represent the 129 Indigenous communities and regions along the route. Members have shared goals of both the safety and protection of environmental and Indigenous interests regarding lands and waters.
