WHILE THE ASSOCIATION WAS INITIALLY DEDICATED TO THE INTERESTS OF IMPORTERS, IT HAS BROADENED ITS FOCUS AS OFFSHORE-BASED COMPANIES HAVE SET UP VEHICLE MANUFACTURING PLANTS IN CANADA.
