Legislative Proposal Immigration Act - amendments with respect to new transitional rules for some economic class applicants and to pass marks for those applying to immigrate to Canada as skilled workers, which may be amended from time to time; rules with respect to immigrants entering Canada to work temporarily to help Canadian employers address skill shortages; Federal rules relating to Federal/Provincial agreements with respect to the provincial nominee program. In addition, the CHBA is interested in Federal efforts to promote recognition of foreign credentials of skilled tradespeople such as the recently announced Federal agency being established in relation to this topic.
