P&WC, ALSO, MARKETS INDUSTRIAL AND MARINE APPLICATIONS OF THESE ENGINEES. P&WC HAS BEEN HEADQUARTERED IN LONGUEUIL SINCE 1928 WHERE MUCH OF IT'S ACTIVITIES ARE LOCATED. THERE ARE, HOWEVER, FACILITIES IN MISSISSAUGA ONTARIO (R&D AND MANUFACTURE); DARTMOUTH NOVA SCOTIA (MANUFACTURE); AND LETHBRIDGE ALBERTA (MANUFACTURE). TO DATE P&WC HAS PRODUCED OVER 43,100 GAS TURBINE ENGINES AND CURRENTLY HOLDS OVER 34% SHARE OF THE W WORLD MARKET SEGMENT. P&WC EXPORTS DIRECTLY OVER 80% OF IT'S PRODUCTS AND THE MAJORITY OF THE BALANCE ARE EXPORTED INCORPORATED INTO AIRCRAFT PRODUCED IN CANADA. |
