Organization's membership or classes of membership: THE ASSOCIATION IS GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF THIRTY-THREE DIRECTORS SELECTED GEOGRAPHICALLY WITHIN CANADA. MEMBERS INCLUDE RETAILERS, WHOLESALERS, BROKERS, FOOD SERVICE OPERATORS, FRESH CUT OPERATORS, SHIPPERS, CARRIERS AND ALLIED INDUSTRY. TWO CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP: ACTIVE (VOTING ) & ASSOCIATE. CURRENTLY HAVE APPROXIMATELY 582 MEMBERS, OF WHICH 196 WOULD BE FROM OUTSIDE CANADA (SHIPPERS MAINLY).
