THE PROMOTIONAL OBJECTIVE IS TO INCREASE THE SALES OF DAIRY PRODUCTS TO THE FINANCIAL BENEFIT OF PRODUCERS AND THE HEALTH BENEFIT OF CONSUMERS. ACTIVITIES OF DFC ENCOMPASS SUCH AREAS AS ADMINISTRATION OF THE MILK SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, PRICING OF INDUSTRIAL MILK, GATT NEGOTIATIONS, INTERNATIONAL TRADE, DOMESTIC MARKETING (INCLUDING ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONS, NUTRITION, SCIENTIFIC AND MARKET RESEARCH) MILK RECORDING, MILK PRODUCTS QUALITY AND SAFETY, RESEARCH AND ANIMAL WELFARE. DFC IS ALSO INVOLVED IN MANY NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURE PRODUCER ORGANIZATIONS. |
