In-house Corporation Details
Description of activities
Westport Innovations has engaged in the research, development, and marketing of high-performance engines and fuel systems which use gaseous fuels such as compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and hydrogen-enriched compressed natural gas (HCNG).
Our unique technologies reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM) and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) while preserving the power, torque, and fuel efficiency of diesel engines.
In addition to our proprietary technologies, we create complete solutions for the transition of commercial vehicle fleets from oil to natural gas. We work with global automotive leaders to incorporate our technologies into their engines and to explore future commercial opportunities for clean vehicles.
