- Obtain contributions from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAIT) for the delivery of development and humanitarian assistance for the following countries: West Africa, Peru, Bangladesh, West Bank, North Sudan, Bolivia, Haiti, Haiti, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Niger and Pakistan.

- Obtain support from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) on humanitarian assistance, recovery and development and aid effectiveness in Sri Lanka.
- Obtain support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) and Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) on stabilization, peacebuilding, humanitarian assistance, aid effectiveness and protection of civilians in Somalia.
- Obtain support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAT) Stabilization and Reconstruction Taskforce (START) for the protection of civilians and tackling of sexual and gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Obtain support from the Government of Canada’s Afghanistan Taskforce (ATF) on stabilization, protection of civilians, aid effectiveness, humanitarian assistance and recovery and development in Afghanistan.
- Obtain support from the Government of Canada’s Sudan Taskforce (STF) for protection of civilians, stabilization and recovery and development in Sudan.

- Ensuring Canada's official development assistance places a priority on strengthening food and nutrition security for poor rural households and communities in the South.
- Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada Stabilization and Reconstruction Task Force (START) Secretariat Global Peace and Security Program (GPSP) with regard to programming, guidelines and modalities of support
- Implemenetation of birth registration across CIDA's three priority themes (increasing food security, securing the future of children and youth and stimulating sustainable economic growth)
- Obtain high level government support on our fragile states file, including Afghanistan, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sri Lanka, Somalia and Haiti.
- Obtain support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) and Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) for protection of civilians, humanitarian assistance, recovery and development, and aid effectiveness in Haiti.
- Prioritization of children and child protection more specifically in Canada's assistance to Haiti
