Subject Matter: Prospective: The CRFA intends to contact the Departments of: Finance, Natural Resources Canada, Industry, Agriculture, Environment and the Prime Ministers office through means of events, targeted advertising, direct contact and informal communications with reference to the benefits of renewable fuels.Following the election the CRFA intends to engage in a comprehensive outreach program to MPs and government departments to gain support for a national renewable fuels standard requiring 5% renewables to be blended in Canadian transportation fuel.This will include direct and indirect contact with the Departments of: Finance, Natural Resources Canada, Industry, Agriculture, Environment and the Prime Minister's Office. MPs from all political parties will also be engaged in this process.Specific activities are likely to include: events, targeted advertising, direct contact and informal communication at dinners and social gatherings.
