Description of the organization's activities
Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is a national not-for-profit organization representing more than 45,000 storefronts including independent retailers, regional and national chain stores, discount, and department stores. RCC provides an extensive range of services including group buying services, national conferences and government relations for its members.
Building on past successes through our close partnerships with the grocery sector, RCC is entering a new era of collaboration with the launch of our grocery division. The purpose of the new division is to provide a strategic focus on Grocery Retailing. In addition, RCC will build on synergies within the grocery and general mass merchandise categories to provide increased benefits and efficiencies for all retailers.
