Broaden the scope of both domestic and export market opportunites for Canadian oilseed products.Act on behalf of members by making recommendations and representations to government on legislation policy and programs of significance to the business of oilseed processing in the areas of trade policy, transportation policy and regulatory issues. Establish and maintain effective relationships with all persons and organizations directly or otherwise involved with the industry.
Organization's membership or classes of membership: COPA's members represent 100% of the current operational processing capacity for oilseed and 85% of the refining capacity in Canada. The Members are: ADM Agri-Industries Company, Bunge Canada, Canbra Foods Ltd., Cargill Limited
