Description of the organization's activities: THE CANADIAN PLYWOOD ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING MANUFACTURERS OF CANADIAN PLYWOOD, VENEER AND VENEER COMPOSITE PRODUCTS. OUR ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED INTO TWO DEPARTMENTS TO MANAGE PROGRAMS OF COMMON BENEFIT TO OUR MEMBERS. THESE ARE TECHNICAL/QUALITY SERVICES AND MARKET DEVELOPMENT.
Organization's membership or classes of membership: OUR ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS 5 MEMBER COMPANIES IN BRITISH COLUMBIA, 1 IN ALBERTA, 1 IN SASKATCHEWAN AND 1 IN NEW BRUNSWICK. TOGETHER THESE MEMBERS OPERATE 12 MILLS AND PRODUCE 80% OF STRUCTURAL CONSTRUCTION AND INDUSTRIAL SOFTWOOD PLYWOOD MANUFACTURED IN CANADA.
