THE PUBLIC INTEREST ADVOCACY CENTRE (PIAC) IS A REGISTERER CHARITY AND FEDERALLY-INCORPORATED NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDES LEGAL, RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY SERVICES FOR PUBLIC INTERESTS WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO PAY FOR SUCH RESOURCES. THE CENTRE MAINLY PROVIDES SERVICES IN THE AREA OF FEDERALLY REGULATED ESSENTIAL SERVICES.
