The Canadian Dental Care Plan and the Canada Dental Benefit, specifically the ODA is working with the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the provincial and territorial dental associations to engage the government of Canada on the national dental care program for low-income Canadians. The ODA's advocacy objectives include: to safeguard third-party insurance, protect the dentist-patient relationship, and for adequate and sustainable reimbursement for providers.
