Description of the organization's activities: CANADIAN RESTAURANT AND FOODSERVICES ASSOCIATION (CRFA) IS CANADA'S LARGEST HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATION AND WAS FOUNDED IN 1944. THE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS THE VIEWS OF ITS MEMBERS TO GOVERNMENTS ACROSS CANADA THROUGH DIRECT CONTACT PROGRAMS, SUBMISSIONS TO LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEES AND THE COMMISSIONING OF RESEARCH REPORTS. OTHER SERVICES TO CRFA MEMBERS INCLUDE: THE ORGANIZATION OF NATIONAL TRADE SHOWS AND SEMINARS; CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS FOR MANAGERS; AND, DISCOUNT PROGRAMS IN AREAS RANGING FROM CREDIT CARDS TO FUEL PURCHASES.
