• Health Canada Primary Health Care Transition Fund and the 2000 and 2003 Health Accords: CHA advocates for the extension to home care coverage beyond the two-weeks post acute care.
• Health Canada: Ten-Year Plan to Strengthen Health Care (Plan). CHA advocates on the following sections of this Plan: Reducing Wait Times and Improving Access, Strategic Health Human Resource (HHR) Action Plan, Home Care, Primary Care Reform, National Pharmaceuticals Strategy, Prevention, Promotion and Public Health, Health Innovation, Accountability and Reporting to Citizens, FMM 2004 Investments for Health and New Funding Levels (10-Year).
