Description of the organization's activities
FBC-ABC is a national association uniting over 1,500 food and beverage processing businesses across Canada. FBC-ABC's objectives are to:
a) Promote coordination, cooperation and enhanced program/service delivery among national and provincial food processing associations;
b) Leverage the political strength of the food-processing sector by bringing together associations which collectively represent a substantial number of food and beverage processing companies in Canada;
c) Foster industry-wide communication leading to more effective industry association action on behalf of Members; and
d) Do all such additional things as are incidental to or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing.

Membership Classes
a) The classes of membership of the Corporation consist of:
1. Regular Members composed of:
Class A – This class is for not-for-profit organizations that are sub-national, non-commodity specific associations that represent food and beverage processors/manufacturers inclusive of all sizes of companies.
Class B – This class is for food and beverage processing and/or manufacturing companies in Canada. Membership in Class B is limited to those eligible companies that are a member of at least one of the member associations in Class A.
2. Associate Members, composed of:
Class C – This class is for entities or individuals not engaged directly in food and beverage processing and/or manufacturing that have an interest or alignment with the sector. This class may include but not be limited to financial institutions, consulting firms, academic and research institutions, equipment and packaging manufacturers, national food and beverage associations, distributors and government agencies.
