Access to information

As a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or any person or corporation residing in Canada, you have the right to request access to records of government institutions subject to the Access to Information Act, including the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying.

Make a request

To make request for records held by the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying, you have two options.

Online

You can submit your request online through the Access to Information and Personal Information Request Service.

By mail

To make a request by mail, please fill out the Access to information request form. Once completed, mail the form to:

Completed access to information requests

Previously completed access to information requests are available free of charge. Disclosed records are in the same format as released, including language, exemptions and exclusions, under the Access to Information Act.

As of January 2017, access to information request completed by the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying are available on the Government of Canada's open data portal. Summaries of requests processed before 2017 are listed below.

This list do not include requests that were:

  • made under the Privacy Act or consisting primarily of the requester's personal information;
  • transferred to another government institution; or
  • abandoned.
