Exemptions granted under the Lobbying Act

Former designated public office holders (DPOHs) are prohibited from lobbying for a period of five years, beginning on the first day that they are no longer DPOHs under the Lobbying Act.

The Commissioner of Lobbying can exempt an individual from the five-year prohibition, as long as it would not be contrary to the purpose of the Act.
