- INTRODUCE TRANS FAT REGULATIONS TO LIMIT THE LEVEL OF TRANS FATS IN PROCESSED FOODS
- Implement a levy on manufacturers of beverages high in free sugars (energy dense, nutrient poor). This levy should be an excise tax and be based on free sugars per unit. Revenues from such a taxation stream should be used to subsidize vegetables and fruit to make healthy eating more affordable.
