A) Types of services of our organization: 1.Changing Lives Program provides personal and group counselling, mental health supports, and community support services for families and individuals during stressful times in their lives. The community counselling program is delivered from Family Service Toronto (FST) offices/ co-locations in the inner suburbs and downtown. 2. Family Violence Program provides safety planning and support, personal and group counselling, public education and criminal justice advocacy regarding domestic violence with women, same sex violence victims; elder abuse victims, child witnesses of family violence, sexual abuse survivors & for male batters. Multi-lingual. 3. Community Engagement Program provides community development by convening and public education to improve social inclusion for newcomers, ethno-racial groups and young families. 5 4. Social Action Program researches and advocates for public policies to improve the lives of vulnerable groups, especially on issues experienced by the agency's service users. The National and Ontario Campaign 2000 against Child Poverty is a priority issue. 5. Options and Passport Program works with adults and families with an individual with an intellectual disability to promote community inclusion. Multilingual. 6. PassportONE Program is the consolidated payment entity for Passport funding for the Province of Ontario, processing claims and administering payments to Passport clients.
