Dans le cadre du Programme Nouveaux Horizons pour les Ainés, le Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées a déposé une demande de financement de 25,000$ afin d'aider ses travailleurs de 55 ans et plus s'apprêtant à prendre leur retraite. Le financement qui serait accordé permettrait le développement d'une formation et d'une tournée pour dispenser celle-ci au maximum de travailleurs handicapés qui travaillent au sein des entreprises adaptées et qui s'apprêtent à sortir de la vie active en prenant leur retraite, en les sensibilisant, les informant et les aidant à planifier leur sortie du travail actif.
