THE FEDERATION HAS A MEMBERSHIP OF 70 COMPANIES WHICH OPERATE OR ACT AS AGENTS FOR MORE THAN 300 STEAMSHIP LINES,THE FEDERATION REPRESENTS 95% OF OCEAN VESSELS TRADING TO AND FROM PORTS IN ATLANTIC CANADA. THE VESSELS REPRESENTED BY OUR MEMBERS TRANSPORT VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE COMMERCE MOVING BETWEEN EASTERN CANADA & PORTS OVERSEAS. THE MANDATE OF THE FEDERATION IS TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS ON ALL MATTERS AFFECTING THE OPERATION OF INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
